NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced that the next phase of coronavirus-induced lockdown, that will start from May 18, will be different from the first three lockdowns.
“Lockdown 4 will take into account the recommendations given by the state governments and information regarding the same will be shared soon,” PM Modi said during his fifth address to the nation in the wake of the coronavirus.
“Scientists say that corona will be a part of our lives for a very long time. But we can’t let our lives remain confined around Corona. We will wear masks and maintain social distancing but we will not let it affect us. So lockdown 4 will be in a new form with new rules,” PM Modi said.
“Based on the suggestions by states, information related to lockdown 4.0 will be given to you before May 18. We will fight Covid-19. We will move forward,” he added.
