The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Deepanshi, an Office Assistant/Sub Staff member at Punjab National Bank’s Pi Branch in Greater Noida, and private individual Ashutosh Kumar Pathak in connection with the Rs. 10.24 Crore Greater Noida PNB Fraud Case
The case was registered on October 29, 2026, following a complaint alleging that funds were siphoned off through unauthorised debit transactions from multiple customer accounts. The accused bank employee allegedly carried out the transactions in connivance with the private individual and other unidentified persons.
The CBI has obtained transit remand for the private individual from the Special Court for CBI Cases in Pune, Maharashtra. Further investigation is underway
