The WTO recognises over 400 regional trade agreements and India is no exception. In the last five years, India has signed thirteen Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) with its trading partners, including the three agreements, namely India-Mauritius Comprehensive Economic Corporation and Partnership Agreement (CECPA), India-UAE Comprehensive Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (IndAus ECTA). It will be interesting to deep dive into the recent FTAs and evaluate the opportunities available for India.
